- Tasted by Guillaume Kelley in 2021: "Disgorged with a dosage of two grams per litre, Millésime Extra Brut 2009 from Billecart-Salmon is more generous and demonstrative than its 2008 counterpart, offering inviting aromas of crunchy stone fruit, yellow apple , brioche, honeycomb and warm pastry. Fleshy and enveloping, with a soft mousse and a generous core of fruit surrounded by lively acids, it is homogeneous and complete. Indeed, its charm and persistence are such that I tend to prefer it, at least for now, to the 2008."
