In Bordeaux, the fruitiness of the 1962 wines stands out. Already very tasty in their youth, the wines from the 1962 vintage promise an amazing ageing potential, which was underestimated at the time. The sweet wines are very well balanced and pleasantly fruity. 1962 is a superb vintage in Bordeaux.

In Burgundy, the blossoming took place in ideal conditions. A very hot and very dry late season played its part in the perfect maturity of the grapes. The reds are exceptional: full-bodied and robust. They are slightly better than the whites. The whites, of very high quality, are somewhat too lively but particularly elegant.
