The 1976 vintage is a very great vintage in Bordeaux. A year punctuated by very difficult weather conditions, the harvest was carried out under heavy rainfall. The grapes, which were then waterlogged, produced wines with less character than they should have. Nevertheless, the wines are supple and elegant. The winemakers made sure to carefully select the best grapes to obtain quality wines. In Pauillac, Saint-Julien and Saint-Estèphe, the vintage is exceptional. The sweet wines are superb and find their balance between richness and elegance.
