The 1999 vintage is one of the most difficult. Diseases in the vineyards, rain at harvest time and a large crop of green grapes, the 1999 vintage was not spared. However, the winegrowers made an effort to compensate for the damage caused by nature.
1999 is a rich and quality vintage for Bordeaux. Due to the damage caused by nature, there are disparities between the different properties.
