Tasted by William Kelley: ‘The Solera Les Années offers aromas of pear, peach, light honey, toasted almonds, buttered toast and white flowers. It is full-bodied, mellow and incisive, with a lovely acidic, chalky edge and a saline finish. Renoir reserves its finest barrels for this bottling and transfers them to casks for further ageing.
The cuvée: Adrien started this solera in 2013, 100% Verzy Pinot Noir. First released in 2021, the wine spends 24 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement."
