This Alsace white wine is made exclusively from Riesling grapes grown on the unique Altenbourg terroir, renowned for its rich clay-limestone soil and its proximity to the Furstentum Grand Cru. These ideal conditions produce a Riesling of rare finesse and particularly pure aromatic expression.
How should it be served?
To bring out the full splendour of this Riesling, serve it chilled, at around 10-12°C. This temperature brings out its minerality and aromas, while allowing you to appreciate its freshness and balance.
Tasting notes
This 2021 vintage charms with its brilliant freshness and remarkable balance. From the very first nose, aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit are revealed, sublimated by an elegant mineral note. On the palate, the attack is lively and taut, followed by the fine structure that is the hallmark of Riesling. The long, lingering finish reveals saline nuances and a pleasant freshness that invites you to take the next sip.
