- Tasted by Joe Czerwinski on January 20, 2022: "More floral and red-fruited than the 2019, Gonon's 2018 Saint Joseph is a wine that will appeal to fans of this exemplary estate. Cherry and raspberry are joined by notes of violet and mint on the nose, while the palate begins to close just a bit and show firm but ripe and silky tannins on the long, mouthwatering finish. Try to avoid opening a bottle for a few years, as the first flattering signs of youth quickly give way to sullen adolescence."
