Order wine : Château de Beaucastel White 2004
Chateauneuf du pape - Perrin family
94/100 Robert Parker
Cellaring potential: 2021-2040+.
Tasting notes : ‘Beaucastel's 2004 white Chateauneuf du Pape is incredibly good, one of the best examples produced in recent vintages. I have tasted it again and it has grown in stature and score considerably. It's a wine of great beauty, terrific richness, with lots of honeysuckle, lychee, grapefruit, lemon and tropical fruit, in a full-bodied, well-defined style, with terrific acidity and definition. It should drink well for a decade or more.’
