Tasted by William Kelley on August 19, 2021: "The 2020 Morgon Chateau Gaillard is from a one-hectare parcel of old vine massale selection located in the Douby climate and in its first year of organic certification. It comes out of the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, plums and spices. It's medium-bodied, lively and concentrated, with ripe but youthfully chewy tannins and a long, sapid finish. It's an excellent complement to the estate's Morgon range of wines, which are particularly suited to aging."
