Bel air - Marquis d'Aligre

Château Bel air Marquis d'Aligre is an exceptional vintage. Situated in the heart of Margaux, its 13-hectare vineyard on a gravelly terroir typical of the appellation produces a unique wine, out of the ordinary.

What are the specificities of Château Bel air Marquis d'Aligre?

Marquis d'Aligre, the name of a 19th century politician, was added to the original name of Bel air. The owner, Jean-Pierre Boyer, produces a wine of rare distinction. Renowned as the most atypical of the Médoc, the Château Bel air Marquis d'Aligre is the pure expression of the appellation.

The vineyard offers in tasting a wine composed of different grape varieties:

Merlot 30%
Cabernet Sauvignon 30%
Cabernet Franc 30%
Petit Verdot 10%

The estate has a particularity: the vinification is made only in concrete vats for the fermentation and maturing process. This particularity gives birth to an astonishing wine, which stands out with the other wines of the Médoc. The wine of the Château is suave, of great finesse with an intensity of flavor.
