Château Beychevelle 1995
Saint Julien - 4ème Grand Cru Classé
- Château Beychevelle's 90-hectare Left Bank vineyard is planted to 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. However, the estate's objective is to gradually replace some of its old Merlot vines with more Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Château Beychevelle is best served at 15.5 degrees Celsius, or 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The cool, almost cellar temperature gives the wine more freshness and elegance.
- Chateau Beychevelle goes well with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, stewed and grilled dishes.
