Tasted by Robert Parker in 2015: "This sensational opaque blue/purple wine from Smith Haut Lafitte exhibits a gorgeous floral nose with notes of graphite, blueberries, blackberries, and cassis leaping from the glass of this inky, densely packed, yet surprisingly pure wine. Light despite its incredible concentration and multi-layered mouthfeel, this wine has fabulous intensity, richness and length. Very impressive and still incredibly young, this is a superstar of the vintage, capable of lasting another 25-30 years."
