Bollinger PN VZ15: An extremely rare vintage :

Comptoir des Millésimes is the first online seller of the Bollinger PN VZ15.

This is the PN VZ 15, the new 2020 model from Bollinger. Their know-how and vision of bringing out the best in the grape variety: a champagne born of elegance, from the tasty Pinot Noir de Verzenay. 

Assembly of the VZ15 edition: 

- 100% Pinot Noir (Blanc de Noirs).

- Cru principal : Verzenay, associated with other villages (Aÿ, Bouzy and Tauxières).

- Base year: 2015.

- Exclusive use of the cuvée.

- Maturation: a maturation time in the cellar more than twice as long as the rules of the Appellation.

- Dosage: moderate, 7 grams per litre.

Tasting notes :

- To the eye: a robe delicately tinged with golden reflections.

- Nose: on opening, aromas of cherry pit, jammy fruit and dried fig. Rich and complex, the nose then develops a toasted and pastry register, accompanied by notes of hawthorn and perry.

- On the palate: the greediness of the fruit combines with its crunchiness and releases peach and apricot flavours, enhanced by notes of hazelnut and acacia flower.

- A beautiful aromatic richness concluded by a lively finish reminiscent of yuzu.
