LEARN MORE ABOUT THE CUVÉE:
Château Plagnac is located on the left bank of the Gironde, in the town of Saint-Laurent-Médoc. It thus benefits from the maritime influence of the Gironde estuary, which contributes to creating a microclimate favorable to the cultivation of vines.
This wine is mainly composed of classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The dominant grape can vary between vintages, but Cabernet Sauvignon is often predominant, bringing structure, power and complexity to the wine.
Château Plagnac Cru Bourgeois Médoc is distinguished by its dark and intense color, as well as by its rich and complex aromatic bouquet. One can find aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, as well as spicy, cedar and tobacco notes. On the palate, it offers a nice concentration of fruit, firm tannins and good structure, allowing it to age gracefully for several years.
