Bosquet des Papes: who are they?

This estate has belonged to the Boiron family since 1860. They are located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It has 30 hectares and produces 4 red and 1 white cuvées.

 

What are the great vintages of Bosquet des Papes?

80% Grenache Noir, 20% Mourvèdre: a superb brilliant red colour, a discreet, slightly roasted nose with scents of cocoa beans, coffee and liquorice. Its mouth is fleshy, powerful, with structured tannins where aromas of small red fruits and spices develop.

 

Old vines from 80 to 90 years old, 80 % Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, 10 % Mourvèdre. Brilliant colour with purple tints. Elegant and complex nose. Very aromatic, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape is very elegant and long on the palate. It is a powerful wine with a cellaring potential of several years.

 

98 % Grenache Noir, 2 % Cinsault and Clairette : beautiful red colour with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it develops spicy aromas. Smooth and fine on the palate.

 

45 % Clairette, 35 % Grenache Blanc, 20 % Bourboulenc : superb pale yellow colour with brilliant reflections. A very beautiful aromatic nose. A rich and ample mouth.

 

75 % Grenache Noir, 11 % Mourvèdre, 11 % Syrah, 3 % Vaccarèse, Counoise, Cinsault: beautiful purple red colour. On the nose, it develops aromas of red fruits. An ample, silky and velvety mouth.
