Château Boyd Cantenac 2000
Margaux - 3eme grand cru classé
90/100 Parker
- Cellaring: 2010 - 2020
- By Robert M. Parker in 2010: "I need to pay more attention to this estate because Boyd-Cantenac is never this expensive. The gorgeous 2000 exhibits a dense purple color as well as a beautifully pure nose of creme de cassis, asphalt, and a hint of forest floor. Having lost much of its tannin, it is a round, medium-bodied, elegant Margaux that is already showing considerable complexity. It is entering its full maturity phase and should drink well for another decade."
Grape varieties: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot.
Operating temperature :
Between 16°C and 18°C
