Prepare in advance:
Make sure the bottle of Jeroboam is stored vertically for a few days before serving. This will allow the wine to rest and settle, reducing sediment.
Temperature:
Red wine, such as Château Branaire Ducru, is generally served at a temperature of 16 to 18°C. Make sure the Jeroboam is at the right temperature before serving.
Aerate the wine:

Branaire Ducru's 60-hectare vineyard is planted to 65% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. This represents a slight change in the proportion of Cabernet in the vineyard. In size, the vineyard remains close to what it was at the time of the 1855 classification.
