Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St Jean 1981 - J.C Fornerot
The Clos Saint Jean is located in the upper part of Chassagne-Montrachet, just below the village's Grand Montagne. It is one of the poorest soils of the appellation, which gives a beautiful minerality to the nose. The palate is tense, with notes of pear, apple and peach, with a catchy finish.
Soil: Comblanchian limestone
