Tasting notes: "The 2019 Catena Alta Malbec transported me into the spirit of 2016, two nice vintages. It is a blend of grapes from different vineyards that were harvested at different times to ensure acidity optimal naturalness and moderate alcohol levels. The whole berries are loaded by hand into small format fermentation tanks and barrels of 225 to 500 liters. It demonstrates precision and is clean, floral and truly elegant, a a little closed at first. The palate reveals a very fine grain, satiny tannins and a lively acidity with some notes of blood orange. It's phenomenal."
