When to drink this wine? 2023 to 2030.
Tasted on Feb 25, 2022: "Intense nose of blackberries, dark plums, stones, tar, tea leaves and licorice. Powerful with firm, concentrated tannins. Compact and precise. Mineral but caressing finish. Give it time. Some viognier co-fermented with malbec. To be tried after 2024."
WINE DESCRIPTION
The Malbec "Nicasia" has a deep red color with purple undertones. The nose offers ripe plum and red berry flavors characteristic of the Nicasia vineyard. Oak aging adds complex and elegant notes of liqueur, tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, a smooth, seductive entry leads to a complex, full-bodied wine with soft, round tannins. The finish is long and persistent. This wine is ideal with game, such as venison and wild boar.
