Tasting by Stephan Reinhardt in 2018: "The Vintage 2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé Brut has a pale but brilliant salmon colour and a clear and delicate bouquet of discreet red fruits as well as very fine spicy and floral notes. The palate is very delicate and fresh, firmly structured and nicely dry, with good length, dense, aromatic and well structured. However, the wine is still young and not yet perfectly round.
L'Amour de Deutz Rosé 2009 from the famous Champagne house Deutz is a superb sparkling rosé wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or with seafood or fish dishes.
Grape varieties: 57% Pinot Noir from the terroirs of Aÿ, Verzenay, Ambonnay and Bouzy, and 43% Chardonnay from Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly and Villers-Marmery. Then 6% of red wine made by Deutz from two parcels of old Pinots Noirs vines located in Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.
A beautiful year for this Champagne rosé. A copper color with fine bubbles; a nose that has charm and notes of red fruits and a spicy side. A very greedy mouth.
