FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE CUVÉE :
Champagne Cristal Roederer is a world-renowned champagne, appreciated for its excellence and prestige. It is produced by the Louis Roederer champagne house, which was founded in 1776 and is located in the Champagne region of France.
- Cristal is the name of a special cuvée first created in 1876 at the request of Russian Emperor Alexander II. At the time, the emperor wanted an exclusive champagne for his imperial court. Cristal Roederer champagne was created specifically to meet this demand, and has since become one of the most prestigious and sought-after champagnes in the world.
- What sets it apart is its unique character and exceptional quality. It is made from grapes grown in carefully selected vineyards, mainly in the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. The grape varieties used are mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
- The Cristal production process is meticulous and based on traditional techniques. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully pressed, then the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged for an average of five to ten years in the Roederer cellars, contributing to its complexity and unique character.
- Cristal is distinguished by its elegant, refined style. It has a brilliant golden color and a complex aromatic palette, combining aromas of fresh fruit, flowers, citrus and toasted notes. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with a creamy texture and fine, persistent bubbles. The finish is long and harmonious.
- Because of its rarity and exceptional quality, Champagne Cristal Roederer is often associated with moments of celebration and luxury. It is appreciated by champagne lovers the world over, and its distinctive bottle, with its clear glass and crystal packaging, has become a symbol of prestige.
