"If the 2014 vintage was particularly open and demonstrative, the 2015 Cristal will require more patience. Unfolding in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, crisp stone fruit, white flowers, crushed mint and subtle buttery pastry notes. It goes from medium-bodied to full-bodied, with a deep, concentrated and rather introverted core of fruit, enlivened by a pretty, spiky mousse. This is an authentic, vinous Champagne that has plenty of substance to age and could well evolve along the lines of the charming 1985."

For the first time since 2002, this 2015 vintage is made from all 45 parcels over twenty years old, thus eligible to enter the Cristal blend. This continental year with its concentrated profile has made this exception and rarity possible, and today it is magical to see the whole estate reflecting the identity of this unique wine: pure fruit, superior finesse and racy length.
Cristal owes its fidelity to the soil to its permanence; it is a wine that is part of a long-term process, that of the seasons, of maturation, of transmission and of research.
