Tasted by Stephan Reinhardt on June 30, 2016: "A fascinating copper colour, with a beautiful, delicate bouquet of red fruits, and great purity and freshness. Kept on the lees for at least nine years to soften the tannins, the 2004 reveals a weightless power in the mouth. It has a deep and concentrated Pinot character, very elegant (although Chardonnay and Pinot are more or less 50/50), and is full of finesse and freshness. The 2004 is intense and vinous, but pure, precise and extremely fine. Adorable."
