- William Kelley in 2020 : "Disgorged in April 2018 with six grams per liter dosage, the Pinot Noir-dominated 2010 Brut Rosé Grande Sendrée is showing very well, offering up an attractive bouquet of raspberries, wild plums, rhubarb and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, vinous and tightly wound, with racy acids, a concentrated core of fruit and a sapid finish. This is a very serious Champagne that's still playing its cards close to its vest, and it will amply repay five or six years patience, even if it can be pleasurably broached sooner."

The month of August preceding the 2009 harvest is hot, dry and marked by cool nights, excellent conditions for a good maturation. Notes of pear and citrus fruit from the Chardonnay, and peach from the vines for the Pinot Noir. A beautiful year faithful to this great wine.
ABOUT THE CUVÉE :
This is a Champagne much appreciated by many champagne lovers. It is a prestige champagne produced by the Drappier house, located in the Champagne region of France. Cuvée Grande Sendrée is mainly made from Pinot Noir grapes, with a small amount of Chardonnay. This gives the champagne a beautiful complexity and aromatic richness. It has aromas of ripe fruit, toast and hazelnut, with an elegant minerality.
Serving and tasting advice:
As for serving and tasting, we recommend serving Grande Sendrée at a temperature of around 8-10 degrees Celsius to bring out its aromas and freshness. Champagne flutes can be used for tasting, as they help concentrate the aromas.
When tasting, take time to savor the champagne, swirling it in your glass to release its aromas. Observe its color and fine, persistent bubbles, then inhale its aromas before taking your first sip. Allow the champagne to expand on the palate to appreciate its texture and complexity. You can note the flavors and sensations you experience.
Champagne and food pairings:
We also recommend tasting Grande Sendrée with fine foods such as seafood, fish, refined poultry or even truffle dishes. This will create a harmonious taste experience.
