Tasted in 2019 by Joe Czerwinski: "Potentially the best recent vintage of this cuvée, the 2018 Hermitage Monier de la Sizeranne has aromas of violets, raspberries and hints of herbs and tea. For an Hermitage, it has almost the elegance of a Cote Rotie. It's full-bodied but supple, becoming mellow and velvety on the long finish."
