Tasted by Yohan Castaing in 2024: ‘Tasted at the estate from a bottle that has never left the cellar, the 1937 Crème de Tête is a magical wine, evoking a complex, ripe bouquet with aromas of quince, sweet spices, saffron, cooked mango, candied blood orange and brown sugar, interwoven with incredible freshness for its age. Quite full-bodied, balanced and refined, it is multi-dimensional, racy and vibrant, with a delicately phenolic finish. This is a monument, a wonderful wine due to the work of the Médeville family over the years.’
