Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown in 2019: ‘The medium to deep garnet-coloured 2009 Conseillante emerges confidently from the glass with very elegant aromas of Black Forest cake, blueberry compote and kirsch as well as suggestions of violets, liquid liquorice, cardamom and bay leaves with a touch of eucalyptus. Quite full-bodied, the palate is elegantly fruity with a firm, grainy frame and plenty of freshness, and a long, mineral finish.’
