The 1990 is richer and fuller-bodied than the 1988 vintage of "La Tour Blanche". It has lost none of its elegant, honeyed style. It is interesting to note that at bottling, the alcohol content of the 1988 was 13.5% and that of the 1990 was 13.2%. The 1990 appears fat and rich, a classic Sauternes that remains undervalued given the resurgence of this well-known estate
