Parker 2015 : "The 2005 Premier Cru Chateau Margaux (85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot), a sumptuous perfume of black currants, velvety new saddle leather, spring flowers, and spices flies from the glass. The wood is already completely hidden beneath the cascade of fruit in this pure, majestic, medium to full-bodied wine. This concentrated, dense, yet strikingly elegant, multi-layered wine has a 45+ second finish. It builds gradually to a crescendo and finish. It is a marvel that can already be approached, but promises to be even better in 5-10 years and last at least 25 years or more."
