Château Pradeaux 2019 - Provence - Bandol - Famille Portalis
This is the emblematic cuvée of Pradeaux, made according to a centuries-old recipe: a high proportion of mourvèdre (90 to 95%) supplemented by old Grenache vines. The selected grapes come from vines of at least 30 years old and are vinified in whole bunches in thermo-regulated concrete vats. The wine matures during a 48-month ageing in old oak foudres. Tannic and fruity in its youth, this wine for laying down par excellence will give those who know how to wait for it an emotionally-charged pleasure. Notes of blackberries, chocolate, eucalyptus and brown tobacco.
