Tasting by Joe Czerwinski: ‘From seven tiny parcels in and around the sandy lieu-dit of Pignan, the 2022 Châteauneuf du Pape Les 7 de Pignan looks to be even better than the first 2020 (none were bottled in 2021). Seductive notes of stone fruit, roses and black tea leaves reveal incredible complexity and elegance in this full-bodied, concentrated and tannic yet supple wine that finishes long and velvety. Wow. ‘
