Tasting by Joe Czerwinski : ‘Ho hum, another great year for the Clairette vieille vigne. The 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Spéciale Vieilles Clairettes evokes honey and white peaches, then rounds out with the addition of sweet toast notes and plenty of lime zest. Quite full-bodied, clean and refreshing, with hints of fennel leaves. Long, elegant and classy. As usual, this wine will only be bottled in magnum. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes.’
