Clos St Jean 2013 - Châteauneuf du pape
90/100 Parker
Cellaring : Can be drunk now.
Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck in 2015 : "Displaying a beautiful colour and one of the most charming, supple and gently fruity wines of the vintage, the 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape from the Maurel brothers offers plenty of blackberry and kirsch fruit, white pepper and Provençal herbs in a medium-bodied, silky and slightly textured style. The tannins are ripe and polished, and given its precocious nature, it should drink well over the next 5-6 years."
