Tasted by Joe Czerwinski in 2018: "The opulent, fruity 2016 Châteauneuf du Pape is a good introduction to the estate's Grenache-dominated style, with copious amounts of cherry and apricot. It is full-bodied and velvety in texture, with attractive licorice notes emerging on the long finish. With its slightly more pronounced acidity, it should drink longer than the 2015 or 2017 versions."
