By Stephan Reinhardt on 14 October 2021 : "Made from younger vines on a 0.45 hectare limestone plot and aged in an Austrian Stockinger foudre for 10 months, the 2018 Saumur Blanc Les Pentes opens with a generously aromatic, yet refined and fruity bouquet of great elegance. Luxurious and perfectly round on the palate with a dense texture, this is a silky, very fine and long-lasting Chenin of which 3,300 bottles were filled at the end of August 2019. I would keep the wine for at least four more years, but buy enough to enjoy for 10-15 years."
