It has great ageing potential, and will flourish in the cellar. Its purplish colour with brilliant ruby highlights heralds an elegant, intense nose, subtly combining aromas of violets, a fine, delicate woodiness and greedy notes of black fruit and ripe cherry. On the palate, this cuvée reveals all its complexity and structure, revealing a classy, refined and silky pinot noir. Its sublime balance carries through to a long finish with melting tannins.
TECHNICAL DETAILS AND STYLE OF THE CUVÉE :
- Made from 100% Pinot Noir from limestone hillside soils, this cuvée fully expresses its terroir.
- It goes perfectly with red meats or dishes in sauce, at an ideal serving temperature of 18°C.
- With an alcohol content of 15.5%, it offers a rich and memorable taste experience.
- Hand-picked grapes and complete vinification in oak demi-muids, with temperature control and malolactic fermentation also in oak demi-muids, give this wine exceptional quality.
- Ageing on the lees in demi-muids contributes to its complex, balanced character.
