Chateauneuf du Pape
95/100 James Suckling
Tasted by Stuart Pigott in April 2024: ‘A simple, generous vintage that was a little forgotten after 2009 and 2010. Very fleshy and tasty on the nose and full-bodied on the palate. A little closed at first, but after a little airing in the glass, a note of truffle develops. The fine tannins are always present and support the long, graceful finish. Drink now or cellar.
