Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard took over the Clos de l'Église property in January 1997. Located on the hillside, at the break of the famous Pomerol plateau. The 6 hectares of vines are 57% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Franc and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon on gravelly clay soil with iron crasses that gives the wine of Pomerol its special character.
