Domaine Comte Abbatucci, located in the heart of the Taravo valley in Corse-du-Sud, is a family-run vineyard renowned for its commitment to biodynamic agriculture. Since 2000, passionate winemaker Jean-Charles Abbatucci has been cultivating his vines according to these principles, respecting lunar cycles and using plant- and mineral-based preparations to energize soils and plantations. 

  

Family heritage and winemaking tradition

Domaine Comte Abbatucci is one of Corsica's oldest vineyards, extending over 21 hectares of granitic arena slopes at an altitude of around 150 metres. The Abbatucci family, deeply rooted in Corsican history, has preserved and enhanced endemic grape varieties, producing wines that faithfully reflect the island's terroir.  

 

A unique collection of endemic grape varieties

The estate boasts an exceptional collection of eighteen native grape varieties, cultivated biodynamically. This ampelographic diversity enables us to produce wines with authentic aromas, evoking the scents of the Corsican maquis, such as immortelle, myrtle, fennel and wild lavender.
