La Landonne 2009
Cote-rotie - Guigal
100/100 Parker
Cellaring: now - 2059
Tasting by Jeb Dunnuck on September 14, 2015: "Much more upfront and easy to read than the backward 2010, the 2009 Cote Rotie la Landonne is a wine of mad beauty. Smoked meats, game, black olives, charcoal, black raspberries and pepper literally fly off this beauty and it hits the palate with a massively concentrated, almost excessive decadence that is impossible to resist. Despite its richness in fruit, it has a huge tannic core and needs at least 4-5 years. Like the 2010, it will have a longevity of half a century or more."
