The Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a very recent estate since it was created at the beginning of 2000 by Viscount Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, an agricultural engineer and oenologist, with the aim of taking over the cultivation of the few vines that remained in his family's possession. But it is in fact a very old estate as it takes over more than 200 years of family tradition in the service of the vine and the wine of Burgundy in general and Vosne-Romanée in particular.
