Saint Joseph White 2023 Le Paradis Saint Pierre - Coursodon
Pierre and Jérome Coursodon: Wine from the estate
94/100 Parker
Cellaring capacity: 2021 - 2030
Tasted by Joe Czerwinski on 20 January 2022: "Bottled just two weeks before my visit, the 2020 Saint Joseph le Paradis Saint Pierre Blanc is a barrel-fermented blend of 90% Marsanne and 10% Roussanne that sees about 15-20% new wood, resulting in beautifully integrated oak and ripe fruit notes. Toasty notes mingle with ripe pineapple, white peach, pear and melon flavours. The texture is silky from start to finish, and the finish itself is mouthwatering, long and nuanced. This has to be one of the best white St. Jo's out there. While it's delicious now, you could risk keeping a few of these for a decade. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes."
