Château Croque Michotte 1975
Saint-émilion - Grand Cru
Château Camensac 1975 - A mature Grand Cru Classé
Château Camensac 1975 is a great Bordeaux wine, classified as the Fifth Grand Cru in the Haut-Médoc appellation. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this vintage expresses all the richness of the Médoc's deep gravel terroirs. After several decades in the cellar, it reveals a bouquet of great complexity, with notes of jammy black fruit, leather, undergrowth and a delicate touch of tobacco and cedar. On the palate, the wine's evolution brings a velvety texture, melted tannins and remarkable length, sublimated by a finish of refined tertiary aromas.
How to serve Château Camensac 1975
A vintage of this age deserves special attention. We recommend opening it one or two hours before tasting, to allow it to develop its full potential. A gentle decanting may be considered to separate any deposits, while preserving its fragile balance. Served at an ideal temperature of 17-18°C, it's the perfect accompaniment to tournedos Rossini, roast rack of lamb or aged Comté cheese. Château Camensac 1985 is a unique sensory experience, to be savored with patience and respect for its exceptional evolution.
