The Cuvée: In 2021, due to a devastating frost affecting various parcels of his vineyard, Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau decided to combine his entire harvest into a single cuvée. Vin de France XXI Blanc 2021 is distinguished by its fresh balance and noble vegetal notes, which have become increasingly rare in recent years. It has a delicious smoothness and refined texture with elegant bitters, thanks to careful ageing in oval wooden barrels and vats. This wine requires patience: it will improve in five to six years and continue to develop for more than fifteen years.Rated 94/100 by RVF.
Vinification: Harvested by hand. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels and ovoid vats.
Tasting notes: A brilliant light gold colour, this cuvée reveals noble vegetal notes and hints of gentian. It is characterised by great purity, fresh balance, delicious smoothness, noble oak and a fine texture with elegant bitters.
