Château Dauzac 2018 in Jéroboam
5th Grand cru classé de Margaux
94/100 James Suckling
Tasted in 2019 by JS in 2021: "Lots of crushed black and blue fruit on the nose, with liquorice and crushed gravel, too. Tobacco notes. Powerful with firm, tight tannins; fresh acidity. Balanced and precise. The finish is tight as it is still too young. The tannins are integrated and fill the mouth. It develops nicely on the palate. 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot. To be tried from 2024."
Blend / Grape varieties: 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot.
