Rully 1er Cru Montpalais 2020 - Domaine de Villaine
DESCRIPTION
The cultivation of the RULLY 1ER CRU MONTPALAIS began in 2016. This young vine, already organically cultivated, is located, like all the first growths of the Rully appellation, in the heart of one of the best exposed hillsides of the Appellation, in the South-East. This gives wines with a frank and fruity character, sometimes mineral but always with a fine and dense bouquet.
TASTING
Vinified and matured in barrels of one to three wines and half a new vintage for 18 months. The frank character of the wine is immediately expressed on the nose. The presence of "chardonnay muscaté" in the vines gives slightly exotic notes on the nose enhanced by a woody sensation. On the palate, it is the flesh of the fruit that is tasted at its richest, unctuous, fresh and digestible at the same time. Drink now on the fruit or wait about five years for the wine to "digest" its wood.
