Cuvée Les Closiers 2020 - Domaine des Closiers

Presentation of the cuvée : The cuvée Les Closiers is a blend of Cabernet Franc parcels located on the hillsides of Parnay. This cuvée is representative of the different terroirs of the estate.
Vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks, Les Closiers perfectly illustrates the expression of the Saumur Champigny terroir, without any artifice, giving a fruity and greedy wine.
The grapes are harvested manually. It is destemmed and sorted. It then undergoes a pre-fermentation cold maceration before the beginning of the fermentation.
The total duration of maceration is about 1 month, followed by 8 to 10 months of maturation in vats in order to refine the Cabernet Franc while preserving the fresh and fruity character of the wine.
No product is added during the whole process except small doses of SO2 to guarantee the quality of our wines during transport.
