Tasting by Jeb Dunnuck on 30 October 2015 : "The 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée Lucile Avril is an exceptional wine for the vintage. Composed of 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Syrah that spent 18 months in concrete tanks." This cuvée is a selection of the best parcels of old Grenache from Châteauneuf du Pape of the Durieu Estate. These wines have fullness, suppleness, tannic structure, complexity, power and length in the mouth. A few years of ageing will allow it to obtain more roundness and depth.
