- Tasting : The Vouvray Clos du Bourg Moelleux is ripe and open on the nose; remarkably fine and precise where delicate chalky notes intermingle with yeasty aromas of ripe apples and even very fine flinty notes. On the palate, this is a sweet, lush, saline-piquant Chenin, refined but tightly woven, with structure, remarkable finesse, shimmering salinity and serious but fine tannins, as if it were a Pinot Noir. Filiform and feminine on the tongue, it develops a long, taut, tightly woven finish with a stimulating salinity. Great class and ageing potential.
